Studio Archifiction designed the Salanga Community Market building on a 33-shatak site in Sirajganj, uniquely divided by a gas line. Since direct construction was restricted across the line, the site was planned as two connected blocks with a central courtyard, creating natural balance and smooth flow.
The building design focused on local context. Shop sizes and layouts were developed through field study, ensuring spaces meet the daily needs of both traders and visitors. Circulation is open and accessible, with shaded areas that invite rest and community interaction.
Sustainable materials were selected for durability, cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility. From concept to supervision, our architectural consultancy delivered a solution that is both practical and long-lasting. This project highlights commercial space design that adapts to local conditions while supporting long-term community growth.
