Custom Office and Home Furniture in Dhaka
Off-the-shelf furniture rarely fits Dhaka homes and offices well. It wastes corners, leaves gaps, and often fails early in local humidity. Furniture design in Bangladesh has one extra constraint imported catalogues ignore: that humidity, and the hardware that survives it. We design and fabricate custom furniture in our own factory in Badda, built around your dimensions and daily use. Our design office is in Adabor and the workshop is in Badda, so drawings and production stay under the same team.
Every piece is designed around actual room dimensions, daily use, material choice, hardware and installation conditions, then fabricated by our own production team. For hinges, drawer channels and lift-up fittings we prefer branded hardware from manufacturers like Häfele when the budget allows, because the fittings decide how a cabinet feels after years of daily use. Studio Archifiction has produced custom furniture for offices, government workspaces and family homes across Dhaka since 2012.

Office Furniture: Workstations, Storage and Meeting Tables
Workstations with proper cable management and power grommets, executive tables paired with matching storage walls, conference tables and full meeting room furniture, reception counters and feature partitions, and storage cabinets and shelving built for high-traffic office use.
Office furniture in Dhaka is usually bought from a catalogue and then made to fit the room. We work the other way round. The room is planned first, then the furniture is drawn to the set-out, so sockets land where desks actually are and nothing is trimmed on site to make it fit.
On the 5,600 sft UNDP floor at IDB Bhaban we designed and supplied six-person workstation tables, overhead storage, meeting tables and a custom reception desk design matched to the brand wall as part of the renovation. On the 750 sft ADB Wing meeting room the conference table was made to the room rather than selected from a catalogue after the layout was fixed. Conference table price in Bangladesh depends on size, top material, edge detail and cable hardware; we quote from shop drawings, not a catalogue page. Home Furniture
Wardrobes and bedroom storage systems, kitchen cabinets and utility cabinets, TV units and wall cabinet systems, and study tables, display units and sideboards, all sized to fit your actual rooms rather than a standard catalogue size. Wardrobe design requests usually decide the rest of the bedroom wall, so we draw the wardrobe and the wall as one elevation, the way the kitchen cabinet guide does for kitchens.
Made in Our Own Badda Factory
Every piece is fabricated in our own custom furniture workshop in Dhaka – the Badda factory – under controlled conditions, rather than outsourced to a third-party workshop. That means tighter tolerances, consistent finish quality, and a single team accountable from drawing to delivery, not a furniture showroom guessing at your space.

That’s exactly what custom fabrication is for. We measure your actual wall widths, ceiling heights, and corners, and design cabinets and wardrobes to fit them precisely, instead of forcing standard sizes into an irregular room.
Where is your furniture fabricated?
In our own factory in Badda, Dhaka. Producing in-house under controlled conditions lets us hold tighter tolerances and finish quality than furniture sourced from third-party workshops.
